Amitava Majumdar
Amitava Majumdar is the founder of Acadex, a Chartered Accountant and Management Accountant whose professional career has spanned finance, internal audit, management, information systems, entrepreneurship, consulting and organisational development.
His academic journey began in Chemistry before he moved into professional accountancy and management. Over several decades he has worked in senior professional and managerial roles and has also built and managed entrepreneurial ventures of his own.
That combination of professional practice and academic inquiry shapes his approach to both management and education: theories and frameworks are useful, but they become meaningful only when they are questioned, understood and applied critically to real situations.
